Safety is our number one concern. All students under the age of 18 must wear a helmet. We provide helmets or you may purchase one of your own.
Always wear boots or tennis shoes. No sandals or crocs. Always wear long pants or long shorts. And wear something you don’t mind getting muddy.
In the summer, you may need to wear bug spray when we go into the woods. You may want to bring a drink for after your lesson when it is hot.
In the winter, you will need to layer your clothing to stay warm. Gloves are a MUST. If you wear tennis shoes or low boots, PLEASE wear knee socks to cover your legs to keep them warm.
Families are encouraged to watch the student ride, but siblings or friends must be supervised.
We request a 24 hour cancellation. We understand emergencies arise, but if we don’t have sufficient notice we can’t fill your lesson slot.
Rain Policy —We will ALWAYS let you know if we have to cancel because of rain. Please do not assume because it is raining at your house, it is raining at the barn.
